The Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM) is a unit of the University of Warsaw and Poland’s leading research center for data and computational sciences. ICM has over 20 years’ experience in administering large-scale hardware and data infrastructures. Its computing resources are adaptable to a variety of tasks and offer cost- and time-effective solutions. ICM has a long record in providing high availability large-scale data and information services for the research community, government administration, and general public. These include data-intensive services such as public numerical weather forecast for Central Europe, information services such as the Polish Virtual Library of Science (providing 10+ million fulltexts of research articles and books to all Polish research community), the European Digital Mathematics Library, or data services such as research data repositories or Big Data analytics.

ICM operates the main OpenAIRE Open Science infrastructure for research in Europe, and is the primary competence center for Open Science strategy and solutions development in Poland.

Role in the project
