EOSC4Cancer
About
EOSC4Cancer builds a comprehensive federated infrastructure that makes diverse cancer data accessible across Europe, including genomics, imaging, medical, clinical, environmental, and socio-economic data. The project enhances interoperable systems for securely identifying, sharing, processing, and reusing FAIR data across borders, delivering these capabilities through community-driven analysis environments that support collaborative cancer research.

Mutual Benefits
OSC4Cancer provides direct insights into the requirements and constraints of a realistic federated cancer data infrastructure, which is essential for SciLake's services that rely on such infrastructures.
SciLake's cancer SKG can be connected on top of EOSC4Cancer's data infrastructure, providing additional value to end users, researchers, and healthcare professionals. SciLake's technological solutions for creating domain-specific SKGs align perfectly with EOSC4Cancer's focus on connecting and harmonizing cancer data repositories across Europe.
Expected Outcomes and Goals
Both projects will utilise and extend the SKG cancer data model, with SciLake tools and services becoming integrated resources within the EOSC4Cancer ecosystem, enabling technology sharing that strengthens both infrastructures and enhances the overall value delivered to researchers and healthcare professionals.
Joint Activities
SciLake team members actively participate in the EOSC4Cancer project, closely monitoring developments and gaining early access to deliverables. Both projects pursue opportunities for joint events, including mutual invitations to present at webinars.
